Mark January 21, 2009 as a red letter day on your new calendar and plan on being at the Roadrunner Grill in the SaddleBrooke Clubhouse for the next Radio Theatre Company’s Coffee House. The popular Coffee House entertainment, scheduled from 4 to 6 p.m., will be bigger and better than ever and include some of the most talented performers in SaddleBrooke. Admission is free, and the talent is priceless.

Among the vast entertainment line-up, Radio Theatre Company has garnered the talents of local favorites Leona Mitchell, Vicki Tapp, Monica Gray, and Earlene Lewis on vocals, and the very talented fiddle players, Ellie Krepp and Alli Edwards. Back-up music and instrumentals will be supplied by SaddleBrooke’s own John Engelbretson and Tom Barrett on the keyboards, Manuel DeLeon at the drums, and George Hash on the steel guitar. And rounding out the two-hour entertainment feast, Radio Theatre Company will serve up several comedic readings, a comedy skit or two, and maybe even a visit from the very popular Wendy Stephenson and her talented students.

This begins the third year of the Radio Theatre Company’s free Coffee House presentations at the Roadrunner Grill, which have become one of the best-loved and best-attended events in SaddleBrooke. Seating is limited, so it is suggested you arrive early. A no-host bar will be available, and the restaurant will offer a limited appetizer menu during the show. The Roadrunner Grill is located downstairs at the SaddleBrooke Clubhouse.

If you want to volunteer to be part of this great entertainment package, please contact Doug Mitchell at 818-3139 or Cathy Schaber at 818-3877.
